Default EG radiator drain plug thread pitch

Title is pretty self explanatory but just in case... I have searched around and can't find the thread pitch for the radiator drain plug; the white wignut dude at the bottom of the civic radiator. Anyone know this info? I'm trying to obtain the knowledge in hopes of securing a drain for turbo coolant line. Kkthx!!

This is really up to the radiator manufacturer. If you have to replace the radiator you're likely to find it's made differently and your mod won't fit. So it would be better to tee into the cooling system somewhere else.

stock radiator. I'd know better to ask the manufacturer of an aftermarket rad. Lol! I was **hoping** to run across somebody here that may have that Intel. There are radiators made with a good AN drain bung welded in but I'd hate to buy a whole new radiator when I don't need to, or JUST for the convenience of a clean turbo drain install.

I have one in hand recently taken from my old stock 93 Civic EX radiator.
Unfortunately, my cheap Tap and Die Set doesn't measure up to that...

See updated info in post below...

Still Checking...
Amazon - Dorman says M12-2.0 for 93 Civic Ex
Amazon - Dorman Link Amazon - Dorman Link

Dorman website "specifications" section backs that up and another one of their part numbers.

You could check the pitch by holding it against a bolt of known pitch to see if it matches. The diameter of the bolt does not matter for checking pitch.

Threads in plastic are often of a shape other than the standard V shaped machine threads. This is not compatible even if you have the diameter and pitch right.

And even looking funny at a plastic radiator is prone to make it leak.

M14x2.0 is confirmed. Took it to a few hardware stores today and one of them was FINALLY able to help out.
I was also able to find this little gem..

Methinks this will make for an inexpensive alternative to welding an adapter on your radiator.
