This may sound stupid but will a rear speaker setup from an SI bolt into a CX without any problems or would I have to drill/tap some holes for it too work. My car currently has a full interior....I didn't want to take it all apart just to see if it'd work. For something I might not even get.

Also what is a good price for the complete setup? a guy locally is selling it for 150 picked up, he's including everything, even the speakers(which he says are still in perfect working order).

Is the price a good deal? I'm not sure how much it would all cost from honda or someone else but 150 seems reasonable to me since it has everything/

Yeah, I'm not really sure what audio stuff goes for these days. I'm not really into that stuff. I would listen to them before you buy them though. What may be good to someone, is probably garbage to someone else.

well I plan on replacing the speakers anyways, either with infinity, alpine type r, or something else even if they do work fine because he said he just went to bestbuy and got the cheapest 5.25" replacements by a good brand(kenwood I believe).

he refuses to part it out and said even he he didn't include the speakers he'd still be asking 150.

you can buy the whole assembly you need to install speakers for both sides for about 80 bucks from your local honda dealer or http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/home.htm

I just added everything up and it came out to 180...not 80 If I wanted them bad enough I'd bite the bullet but I think I'll have to wait since the Dbag sold them right as I pulled up to his house....he was seriously expecting a bidding war in person between me andf the other guy I said F*CK it and walked

hey i have a cx and mine already had rear speakers when i bought it. did any year cx come with rear speakers?

I believe only the SIs had them only as an option I don't believe it was ever standard in the 92-95 hatches.
