Default EG hatch w/ LS heart

92 civic hb with 94 ls engine and gsr tranny. I bought the car as a shell and did the engine work myself, but Im puzzled by a few things. He tore his b16 out of the car and left the ecu. I got a LS ecu with my engine but he says the current one will work. Which ecu? I also read the swap guide in the sticky, I went to the parts store to get the said radiator hoses and 1 is too small... bad sticky info or parts guy screw up? What hose works, Ive got the correct one for the lower radiator connection.

I had to get LS hoses. the CX hoses were just too small.

the b16 will probably have a better fuel map, as compared to the ls with better torque... b16 just has vtec therefore adding more fuel top end... i guess swap them back and forth and see which one works for you... they both should work though, depending on what year your setups are will defer.... like 90-93 teg, or 94-95, and 96-01.....

Ok, so is there a write-up somewhere to help me through connecting the ecu correctly? So i've got the correct upper radiator hose, the lower one i have is too small. I went to the parts store and asked for a lower hose for an LS, its the same size as the one I have. So I know that the upper and lower hoses have the same size hole. Did you guys just fight with it to get it in? Would a 94 Del Sol VTEC lower hose be the correct size?

del sol vtec lower hose should do the job, just get clamps to be safe, changing the ecu should be really simple, unless you are changing up obd types. plug and play, i wouldnt use the b16 ecu either, you'll throw cel's and run rich.

ok, i just cant find a lower hose that fits on the engine though. the supposed ls hose wont fit on the ls engine... ill try the del sol vtec hose and see. otherwise ill just get a coupler hose.
