I installed a set of tein s-techs and AGX's and now the car has a this pimp sag to it in the front driver side. Any other people have or had this problem and what to do to fix it?

Happens to all of them..even stock. I affectionately call it the Honda gangsta lean. Only way to get rid of it is with some coilovers and a couple hours.

Gangsta lean aye? Well maybe if I just pump that tire up about 30 more psi it'll fix that Superfly look. But besides coilovers there's no other solution? What causes it anyway? If I got a new spring from Tein would that do anything, maybe I just got a shitty spring?

Yeah just bump up that tire pressure about 30psi on the drivers side. It's caused by the extra weight on the drivers side constantly (you, always being in the car on that side, whereas there is'nt always someone on the passenger side). A new spring won't help man...sorry.

That 30psi was a joke but maybe sticking some washers on top of the shock stud under the wheelwell? It just looks kinda ghetto looking all loopsided.

lose some pounds tubby just kidding, yeah get adjustable coilovers and you can adjust out that sag.

I've never had a sagging problem with springs.. although we had an ecplise that had the s-techs with kybs(non-adjustable) and it sagged a good amount on the same side.. I was thinking it was the s-tech springs that did it.

dont tein have a warrenty that their springs wont sag to a certain around in mm or you can return them and get a new set

Heres something that will lighten you up!!...
go to the passenger side and cut the spring to match the driver side!!

only allow one person to ride with you wherever you go, and take out your passenger seat, so they have to sit in the back seat (most likely they won't sit behind you). Done and done. Also might wanna put in a footrest and an ice chest since its now an instant ghetto limo.

I'll be looking more ghetto if I switch sides cause someone will say "wasn't your car saggin' to the otherside the other day, you got bags or something?" Why would it matter if thats the side I drive on if I got new shocks and springs? I could see if they were the old stuff but its all completely new. Maybe I'll try giving the people I got the springs from or try Tein?

haha this thread is funny. Anyway, if you switch the springs then the other side of your car would be sagging, but wouldn't it eventually even out and both springs will sag the same amount eventually and things will be even?

check your bushings... your front driver shock mount bushings could be shot...

Mine sits even on all sides and it's stock springs and struts with over 170k mi. on them.

Sometime the unbalanced ground can make you car's height look uneven!!.. make sure you dont get fool by a bumpy ground level!!

Then won't my passenger side be lower then? It'll be just the same problem but just on the otherside. I guess it's worth a try though.

well if it's the uneven weight distribution it will make the ex-pass. side spring sag to the same level that it already made the ex-driver side one.

in theory at least...

If it's not sag and just uneven weight distribution that affects the ride hieght then it won't matter...

I'll re-iterate my "check the bushings" thing...

Have you done the bushings?
How many miles are on the car?
What year?

I have STOCK springs/struts front and rear... and my car sits even... it didn't before I did the ES master kit... but it does after... and I'm borderline fat... so if weightt were the prob... I'd definately have it.

Haven't done the bushing yet. I'm gonna be parking the civic pretty soon in place of my new winter car coming soon. The eg has around 180k and is a 92. If I do a bushing kit I'm gonna do a whole GSR brake swap while I'm at it since it's all gonna have to come off anyway if I do it.
