EG/EH rear lights technical help needed...
I've seen this on an EK hatch.
The rear lights when lit at night ran red (the usual), but the amber blinkers were lit as well, they were both constant. They of course blinked when the indicators were turned left or right. How can I do this?
I know it can be done, they just might not be as bright as stock. However I will be eliminating my brake spoiler light, so that should composite the lose of amperage.
Let me know if you don't understand.

Hack off your turn signal bulb/socket, go down to honda or autozone and get a dual filament bulb/socket, splice one wire to your turn signal and the other wire into your parking light wire, the new socket won't fit perfectly into the hole where the old one was, but you can figure out how to make it work. If you can't figure out how to make it work, call one of your local MacGyver mechanics, everyone knows one.
Edit: The loss of resistance in eliminating your third brake light has absolutely nothng to do with the illumination of your signal lights while your park lights are on.

Awwww, how cute. I remember back in the mid-90s... having "ambers" lit was the cool thing to do and anyone w/ 'em lit up was a "racer." LOL
My friend used to do it with some sort of GM trailer-light harness for trucks. There was a how-to on the old vtec.net or some random webpage we found when we were 16 and bored.
