Default eg civic with ls swap burning oil

ok guys i just got my b18a blcok abd b18b head in my car and it runs fine, no sputtering, runs great, but it burns oil bad from about 5k to redline(smoke out exhaust BAD), the engine had been sitting for about a year and a half before i bought it, but i completely disassembled it and cleaned it out, so their shouldnt be a problem like this, i used several engine flushing products also. I replaced the water pump, timing belt, all that good stuff, the only thing is i ran out of cash right before reassembly, so i had no cash for a new head gasket, so the old one was metal so i cleaned it up and reused it, im not burning any coolant at all, but im wondering if maybe somehow oil is seeping into the combustion chamber at high rpm???

do a compression test and a leakdown test. that will tell you exactly where your problem is and how severe it is.
if you can't perform these tests take it to someone with the skills and equipment.

i would say maybe piston rings or valve seals. Heck it might even be as simple as bad spark plug o-rings in the valve cover

checked the spark plug o-rings first, its not that, i am going to do a compression test shortly, im not sure how to do a leakdown test so if anyone could let me know...

i know the engine WAS good, but it sat for 2 years before i purchased it, could it be that the rings are jsut stuck from sitting there for so long? anything i could use to unstick?
