Commonly yet incorrectly EG's are referred as encasing all 92-95 civics, Ek's as all 96-00 civics except the 99/00 Si which is referred to as the EM1.
They each have specific chassis codes which is hard enough to find by going to google and typing "honda chassis codes" (first link or second).
Anyways, that's that, pple constantly refer to them as the wrong name and it doesn't even matter.
Yours is an EJ1, I know b/c I have a '95 civic coupe. Though when you say EJ1 you won't get as many responses back b/c most pple don't know what the expletive you're talking about w/o looking it up. Just call it what it is. A '94 Civic EX Coupe.
