EG, carpet is always damp in the morning drive and passangerside.
So a few days ago i took my mats out, and low and behold my carpet is damp. So i could only figure it has to deal with alot of moisture in the air from the cold mornings... So i took out the mats on both passanger and driver side... It's day two and it's still damp. Has anyone noticed this strange effect to the carpet?

I havent heard of many people who have this problem. However, when I was searching for my EG I read the consumersguide.com review and it said that some EG's had faulty sealent on the firewall and that the carpet would be damp after rain and what not. If its not coming from outside the car then possibly could be a leaky heater core.

yea, i have an eh2 and have the same problem also, apparently this is an issue with most eh2's and honda issued a recall, but they no longer honor it.. best i can come up with is this post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1391530 that guy works at honda and got the guide on how to fix the problem, i still haven't gotten around to doing this on mine, i think i will this weekend.. lets try it and see how it works
