EG with cable tranny, which VSS?
The swap I'm dropping in the EG comes with a cable S1 tranny. Just wondering which VSS can be use for this application.

you want to put the electronic VSS from your old tranny into the cable one. Not to mention you'll have to adapt the hydrolic clutch to work with teh cable tranny.

Well, I would love to get a B-series hydro tranny, but everyone wants an arm and a leg for it. Picked up an S1 cable tranny (which by the way has similiar gearing to an ITR except for 4.4 final drive) with Hasport hydro to cable conversion for under $400 shipped. The swap's going into an EG and it's missing the VSS.
Just wanted to clarify before I go out searching for one.

So just stick to the stock VSS that came in the car is what your saying. Would it bolt right up?

The cable tranny came with a Hasport hydro to cable mount and conversion kit. At this point, I'll have to use 90-91 Integra clutch, axles and midshaft. Thanks for the input!
