EF and EG ignitions and door locks interchangable?

EF and EG ignitions and door locks interchangable?
I have a non running EF hatch on the side, with ignition and door locks intact with original keys. And i have an EG 4dr that has been broken into and stolen. The previous owner installed solex locks and only gave me one solex key, so i was wondering if its possible to swap the EF ignition and door locks into an EG, therefore using the EF original key. has anyone tried it? thanks in advance.
