ECU wiring HELP!!
My civic Cx with a d16z6 supercharged is not pre wired for vtec, so I need to wire it in. I have a spare body harness with the ECU clips in it, I need to know how to take the pins out of the harness and put them into the one on the car, so I can pin my ecu for vtec.

Looking at the ECU plugs, there is a hinged lock on the back side of the plug. Use a screwdriver and pry that piece up (it runs the length of the plug). Next you need a small screwdriver, like an eyeglass repair screwdriver. It goes in the front side of the ECU plug to relieve the catch that holds the pin into the plug. Once you relieve that catch, the pin should slide right out of the back side of the plug.
