Default ECU Questions ... ECU GURU's HELP!!!

Okay i have a 99 Civic AUTO it's running on D16Y7.
This saturday or Sunday i'm doing a mini-me swap. 2000 D16Y8 head, Y8 intake mani and using either Y8 tb or Y7 tb ...i guess it wouldn't matter.

Now the big question. Which ECU will work for it? It's still going to be auto, manual swaped later in future. I found a lot of P2P ECU's i guess the 96-00 Civic EX ECU's, but 5speed. I never found a single P2P Auto ECU. So can i use a P2P 5speed ECU for my AUTO? or can i use other ECU's w/o changing harness and stuff...

PM ME WITH ANSWERS PLZ.. .ASAP!!

i dont think the tranny would shift with a 5 speed ecu... has something to do with the shift solenoid on the tranny i believe and prob numerous other things... i would just run your current ecu until you find another auto one for the vtec engagement
