Default ecu question?

me and my buddy r in an arguement bout ecu..i have a gsr ecu and wants me to lend it to him and to it to his honda..he has a d16..i told him it wont fit..he says dont trip dat it will fit..which one of us it rite..

It depends on which obd it is, not the engine thats in the chassis.
If both chassis are of the same/similar obd/year it will fit fine, otherwise no. This is aside from whether or not the ecu is suited for the engine or not, as stated.

But you cant spell, so by default, your friend is correct.

OBDII ecus will work with OBDII cars, vic versa with OBDI

What year are the cars?

His car would probably run rich and shitty anyway, why is he borrowing it?
