Which ecu for my setup?
Alright, so I have a 97 Del Sol S. It currently has an OBD2 ECU that says "37820-P1Z-A02" on it. I'm assuming its what came in the car stock. Now, the previous owner swapped in a D16Z6 block, which I know is OBD1. It also has the head from a D16Y8 which I know is OBD2. So my question is, should I be using the P28 ecu with an OBD1 conversion harness, or the P2P ecu which is native to the D16Y8? Or would it not matter at all? I've read that some people had issues running the P28 on a D16Y8 motor, but thats not exactly what my setup is, so I was wondering what you guys thought. Thanks!

Honestly find a 96-97 P28 OBD2A ECU. That way with emissions testing you'll connect to the scanner as well (OBD1 ECU's will not). The P2P may cause you to throw some fuel pressure sensor codes as it does in many peoples swapped Civics.

Re: Which ecu for my setup?
I don't need to worry with emissions as my car is over 15 years old so they don't plug it in. Aren't those ECU's really hard to find?
