ecu fuse?
ok today i got a new ecu chip from myfriend i put it in my extra ecu . car was driving fine no prob i came home 2 switch the throttle cable and then car wont start . and i noticed the vafc2 wasnt on so i check the fuses and the ecu fuse was popped ? any body know why?

i put anotherfuse in and it worked fine it started up...i just wanna kno why it happened so i can prevent it from happening again.

Like Hatch77 said, more than likely a coincidence. Randomly, one time my 80A battery fuse blew on me. No rhyme or reason, but it hasn't happened since.

who a new chipped ecu cause the fuse to burn randomly even if the car has started and ran several times before.

maybe something in the wiring on the VAFC is messed up?
I blew 10 fuses before I realized that lol
Two ground wires came apart (I didn't soder) and I couldn't figure out how to get it back. Eventually got it though
