Not really sure, but I have a B16 (SiR II) and I have used the p28 (chipped and unchipped) and p30...hope that helps somewhat

The p08 is the ecu for the JDM d15b I believe. Thats what came with my friends D15B swap atleast. Should be fairly similar to a p28 except I believe they don't have o2 heater circuits. So yes it should run your D15B well.

i know that but if some one used it on a B16 would they have to mod it for the DOHC?

would it still be one wire O2?

will it still work on the D15B VTEC?

If you were to use a SOHC ecu (p28, p06, p05, etc) on the DOHC, You should chip it because the fuel and ingition maps are very different and could cause you to lean out. You run a OBD1 ecu with a OBD1 car/motor, basicly any ECU will run the car. But different ECUs have different things that make them better/worse for different kinds of motors.

You catch me?

I believe all Vtec ECUs have a four wire 02s.

O2s sensors only have a bearing effort on the car when the car is at idle or light load. At WOT, the ECU uses preset maps that the car running on. IF the 02 sensor is not seen (or not working) by the ECU, the ecu will run on preset maps (most of them run the car rich).

I would run a P28, but it is your call.

the reason i want a P08 is b/c it is org a ONE wire O2
snd i dont wanna *** with the wiring of the 4 wire on my broz CX that is a one wire
so if a D15B was chiped with a thing for a B16 would it work good on the D15B?

i am assuming that the chip for the B16 would just change the fuel map
so wold it run good on the D15B?
or would it be messed up?

The CX comes with the P05 ECU. no VTEC so running the D15B would require a chip and RPM switch.

The 'B16' JDM SiR came with the P30.

The P08 is what comes stock on the D15B so that would be ideal. Chipping it to B16 specs would probibly be too much fuel and the ignition curves would be wrong.

To answer your original question, all civic OBD1 plugs are the same, but each ECU requires some different things on some of those pins.
I know for sure that the P28 and P30 are swapable if your car is wired for the P30. If it's wired for the P28 then the P30 will have a knock sensor code, but everything else will be fine.

Going from the P05 to the P08 should only require the addition of the VTEC line from what I can tell.... but I haven't dug deep into it to verify each wire.
