Default ECU Dead or Healthy??

Hello all...my 1992 VX developed a very sudden misfire and loss of power. 1st thing out I went to pull codes. Jumped the 2P connector, turned the ignition on. I get a solid CEL, no blinks. Ignition on without the jumper CEL is on for a couple of seconds then goes out. No CEL when driving. Is this an "all's well" or "I'm dead" from the ECU?

Default Re: ECU Dead or Healthy??

ECU is fine and didn't register a missfire... which an OBD1 ECU does not detect anyway.

missfire on VX... distributor, if it has 85k+ miles it's time to replace it.
