Default ECU Chipping

Hello, I have a 1993 Honda Del Sol with a JDM B16a DOHC VTEC Motor. I have skunk 2 performance cam's, adjustable cam gears, a competition fuel rail, AEM fuel pressure regulator, cold air intake and skunk 2 intake manifold, DC 4-1 header with stock cat and 2.5" cat back exhaust. I have performance spark plugs and new wire. Also in it is a Fluidyne radiator. I have 17" wheels and a custom suspension (but that's not so important.) Lately I've been having a guy burn me custom EPROM chips that I've been swaping in and out of my P30 ecu. First chip was a 4800 VTEC crossover and a 9000 rev limit. 4800 I found was way too low for my car because it couldn't make the crossover in 3rd 4th or 5th gear without the previous gear being wound up so high that when u up shifted, the next gear kicked in post vtec. I scratched that and told him to keep the same fuel and ignition tables, rev limit, and just up the crossover to 5400. Better, but 4th gear still can't make the switchover. I've decided to go back to a stcok vtec crossover (6000) with improved fuel and ignition tables and a 9000 rev limit, but I found that my car is running VERY rich. Can anyone advice as to what fuel and ignition tables I should use for my car? This guy is able to mix and match data from any chip compatiple with my ECU, i.e. mugen, spoon etc. I also figured the problem could be that he eliminated too many sensors in an attempt to make my car less restrictive, it could also be the fuel pressure, but ultimately I'm not sure. Please advice, thank you

I read this sentence over and over, and I'm not sure what your trying to say here.
But regardless, being able to shift at redline and keeping the car in vtec in the next gear is a good thing.

Since you have cams, I would suggest you get either hondata or at least a vafc and have the car tuned on a dyno.
You wont get maximum results from just a chipped ecu.

What I meant was that if in third gear I tried to accelerate, the car would hesitate where the vtec should normally kick in (4800) and not rev any higher, it would just get stuck there as if it didn't have enough power to continue (it made a wierd sputtering sound.)

Before I chiped it, seemed to me like it was 6000, I could be wrong tho.

the tach was probably off. sounds like you'd be better off with a v-afc and some time on a dyno
