EBaY Type R rear lip, fitment..possibly a coupe lip?
I bought these on ebay I expected a little trouble with fitment, but figured i could probably work with it. Type r style front and rear lip for EG. the front had a little fitment trouble, but i could work with it and it looks great.
This is the rear lip, its way too long on the sides..about 2 inches on each side. i guess i could trim it up, but then i have no way to attach the sides. Do you guys think this one is for a coupe and not a hatch? based on the pics that is.
(yes my rear bumper is spray painted...im getting a new one soon)

From your description I would imagine that it's from a coupe. My bumper (coupe) has more material on the sides behind the wheel well than yours. Did you specify to the seller that you have a hatch?

it has a sticker on the lip "92-95 eg hatch"
and the auction was for a hatch as well. im talking to the guy who says its definately a hatch lip and requested pics...so i sent him some pictuers and im waiting for a response.
tomorrow at work im gonna test fit the lip on a coupe and see what happens.
just wandering if anyone would know right off hand

Just trim it a little bit, better than the hassle of spending 20 bucks of shipping it and recieveing it 3 weeks later.

ive thought of that...but how would i attach the sides? without leaving an ugly screw head sticking out?

slide it up the bumper more, the higher you go, the less extra space there will be, i had the same problem with mine, and rasied it up, and it looks fine

pics? ive tried sliding it up and down to find the best fit...i cant find it
