easier way to remove rear deck/speakers?
i was trying to remove my rear spakers in my 99 civic coupe to replace last night and came to the conclusion that i have to remove my entire rear seats and rear quarter plastic pieces AND the rear deck just to get to my rear speakers. is this corrrect? or is there an easier way? can i just pop off the rear grills?! that would be so much easier!

i wish it would be that easy but its not i went through the same problem with my 98 coupe but i didn't have to take out the entire back seat the whole entire back panel should be held on by clips but when it comes to taking it out be careful cause those bitches break easy but to answer your question there is no easy way just time and patience good luck

Make sure you get all the clips to seat on the rear deck when you put it back in.
I missed one.
It's such a pain to get it back out that I don't really want to go back and do it all over again to fix that one clip, but it drives me nuts.
