e-brake light wont go off! why?
for some reason my e-brake light wont go off...
about a week ago the e-brake light would come on when i make a hard left or accelerate hard and then go off if i jerked right or randomly.... but now it doesnt seem to go off at all... anyone have any input?

99% sure it's your brake fluid level.
EDIT: Hell, I'll elaborate why I think it's this. You said it only comes on under acceleration and cornering. There is a float in the resovior that determines when the light comes on. If you have a resovoir that is less than full, when you do those motions, the float sinks to the level that would allow the light to come on.

Hahaha. Directly after a rear disc swap, my e-brake light was on. I took the whole consol/e-brake apart & fucked around with that for about an hour, before I realized I just didn't fill the resivoire up enough after bleeding.
The brake light is supposed to be your first sign of worn brake pads. If it's low, you sould check your pads, because their probably wearing thin.

Just make sure you figure out why it was low on fluid (it doesn't happen for no reason).

Very good idea. Check around the brake lines (where they attach to the hard lines and the brake calipers. Also check your pads to see if they're worn.
