E brake cable question

Default E brake cable question

guys, i hope someone can help me right away on this, but i need to know if you can use the stock ek E brake line with the 95 GSR set up. See what i'm plannin on doing is puttin GSR brakes in my EK, but i don't have the Ebrake cable...i do but it's with the stock EK, i just wanna know if i can use the stock ebrake cable with it, any help would help, thanks a lot

No you can't. You will need ebrake cables from a 99-00 Si.

haha, i guess i'll have to try it myself, i got two ppl saying yes, and two ppl saying no. There might be a getto way of doing it by stretchin the cable, but i don't wanna do that. I just don't wanna come up short...dang

Have you done it yourself? or are u just saying that from word of mouth...thanks for ur help

no you cant reuse it. for the rear, you need everything from a integra or 99-00 si

I've done a rear disk on my hatch. The drum cables are different, they go into the drum if I remember correctly.

thanks guys, i appreciate all ur help, only reason why i ask is in 5 hrs. i get off work and i plan on doing it haha. I'll let u gusy know how it turns out...by morning i should have both si lines and ofcourse stock ones so i'll play with it.
