E-Brake broken, Wrecked
Okay, long story short, wrecked flew into big ditch had to drop the clutch in 1st the hole time to get it out of the ditch. Anyway, to make a long story short. My ebrake now lifts up completely without holding in the ebrake button on the handle. The ebrake works, but it lifts up with a cranking noise w/o pressing the button in, I'm sure this can't be good. Any who, anyone know what happened & how I can fix this? Thanks.

If your e-brake works, and when you pull up on the handle w/o pressing the button, and you hear a ratcheting sound it's working right. Now, if it automatically releases and doesn't hold, then it's busted. What exactly is it doing?

yea it should go click click click on the way up and hold. THen it needs the button pushed in to release it.
