DX to EX
hey everyone I have a question that I have been getting different answers to...I have a 1996 civic dx(obviously), I plan on putting a vtec head, intake manifold, and tranny into my car in the not so near future, but I have been hearing that the dx's dont have an evap system like the ex, so if I was to hook up a ex ecu I would trip a check engine light, PLEASE HELP WITH ANY INFO!!!

Re: DX to EX (1996civicDX)
first thing
buy a helms manual, it is definitely needed
im still progressing through my mini me swap stomping out all the bugs. if my last one(prays to god it is my last error) which is my VSS(vehicle speed sensor) is just blown and its not a wiring problem i can give you some pointers.

Re: DX to EX (Takeoff)
If the only thing you need for a full swap is an EX block your nuts, just get the whole EX motor and save youself hours of ECU code debugging.
