You CAN use your dx IM and exhaust manifold, but why? If your going to do it, do it right. Get the y8(96-00 ex) intake manifold and head. While your at it get a light wieght header(DC is fine) and get a EX/Si tranny. The DX tranny sucks ***. Also, a EX ecu will work fine(the OBDII is called a P2P).

th swap easy but there is a few bumpslike wireing the iac from dx to ex is kinda confusing but noting a wireing diagram wont fix and in switching to the ex exhaust manifold make sure you pick up the stock cat or run with out one just have another o2 bung welded in

If i got my hands on a 96-98 Ex head, Intake manifold, and a nice header id be in good shape....Toss all my Dx junk....Would i be better off using a Ex ecu or reprogram the Dx ecu and use a activator switch for the vtec....Also how much of a differ is the Ex tranny compared to the Dx tranny....
