No the gains are not worth it. You would be much happier with a Z6 or Y8 for your building blocks on a D series. Minime swap only gives 8-10 hp at the flywheel so its not that big of a deal and a waste of money

with a good tranny it is worth it...the reason Y8's and Z6's are faster is because of the better tranny...my tranny is a POS and I held up with my friends EX pretty good...i'll have a new tranny and clutch in a month and i'll tell you then...
