i have a 96' hatchback civic. it has a d16y7 in it. i had a post asking if i should swap a vtec head on or not. some people told me to. they refered to it as the mini-me swap. i know its not really a big deal but is it really called a mini-me swap if its already a d16. are the d16y7 block and thed16y8 block the same or not. just curious. i thought mini-me is wen u take a vtec head and put it on d15. hence the mini part.

Yes, i would love to see a write up of a z6 head on a y7 block........I am about to attempt this head swap next week and could use a write up to follow........anybody know of one?
