They add more weight than you want. They take away more power, and there is no logical way to route them on a Honda.

On an s2000 sure, on an v6 accord why not... but on a civic? There is no possible reason to want to do that. Weight, looks, and the power it takes away just dosent make sense.

dual exhausts on 4-banger Hondas
if you want to be different, ues a single exhaust but have it modified so it exits on the opposite side of the OEM one. For instance, i've seen a 3G GSR on my campus that had his Fireball re-routed to exit on the driver's side. very unique except very ugly because he still had the hole on the passenger side. but i'd never seen anything like that before, so it was something to see. I wouldn't do it but it really didn't look all that bad save for the OEM exhaust cutout he didn't fill.

I agree – no use for duals on a four banger. Speaking of that why does the S2000 have duals? Is it purely for looks?
