DSM injectors on my d16y8
My friend gave me a set of DSM injectors.....wanting to use them for my turbo set up. I was just wonder if they will plug right in....or if I had to do any modifications to get them to work?

you need to wire up an injector resistor box. there are pleanty of walkthroughs on HT about this or you can check out my install here. http://repo.jackmoves.com/album153
there are more in depth instructions if you search.

you don't need a resistor box. go to radio shack and buy 4 10ohm 10 watt resistors and wire them inline on the wires to your injectors. You might have to bore the injector seals a little bit, other then that it is pretty straightforward.

most definately. wiring the inline resitors was much much cheaper and easierr then a resistor box, as i did it to my 93 ex a few months ago. the inside of the injector seal that sits in the manifold needs to be bored out pretty good, but a dremel will do it nicely. also if you want to use the stock civic injector clips, take a knife and cut out the little **** thats inside the injector clip, cause it wont slide onto and lock in place on the dsm injector with this piece still in the clip. oh yea, wire them into the power wires, not into the grounds(the injectors pulse via grounds from the ecu and the power is a constant supply) i know for my civic the power wires were yellow with a black line. check the helms to double check for your car
