Dropped, and rubbing........
I have a 98 ex, coupe dropped on 15" wheels with kyb-agx and ground controls. I would say that it is dropped 2.75 inchs. The Camber was very negative, so i put 3 washers under the upper control arm. That helped, but now every tim the wheel goes into the fender ell more than 1/4 it rubs. The bolt trick did not 100% fix my camber so i think im gonna lift the car up 1/2 inch (till i get some longer bolts). But main concern is that the tire sticks out, just to the fender (therefore it cant really go inside). How would i fix this? New lower control arm? if so which one is sightly shorter? Thnks

3? How thick are the washers you are using? I had two washers in the rear and it was dropped 3.5" for awhile, and the washers helped it out a lot. Bottom line is, if you put a couple washers in the back, and it is still off, it is OK. The rear of the Civic doesn't have that much weight to cause severe tire wear. I would be more concerned with the front camber being off.

They are 3/8" washers, just bout 1/16" thick. I just measued my camber (using a level next to the wheel). The bottom of the rim sticks out 1/8" more than the top. I guess the tires being larger, give the appearence that there is more camber than there truly is. I am going to get some 40mm bolts, and put another washer or two in there. That should take care of it. I also just raised the back about 1/2" so it (camber) looks a lot better.

I bought some bolts, and put another two washer on it. It looks even. Where would i go to get it tested for th exact camber? Ijust realized that they were 8.8 grade....is this too low? Well i have to drive like 15 miles today, before ill have time to take them out if they are..... i hope my suspension doesnt fall off!!
