Default Dropped a CEL

97 civic ex with a d16y7 pulled a p1336 reader said misfire or manufacturer ignition control issue(something along those lines) and if i check online p1336 and find crank position sensor or crank sensor fluctuation or something along those lines....cleared it the first time then came back shortly after cleared.

has anyone else got this code before?

Try the cheap stuff first. Wires, plugs, fuel filter, etc..
