my motor mounts are for a 92-95 honda civic d-b series replacement and I dont know why its like that. but I think the bracket is different. also can I still use my stock civic rear tranny bracket as well? I have never seen a mount bracket that look like this. the motor came out of a crx.

What year was the CRX? That might be the issue, the lower mount for a EF is different than the lower mount for EG. If you are asking can you use the D series rear tranny bracket, NO! Get a rear tranny bracket for a 94-01 integra or 99-00 Civic SI and you should be good.

ok I know I had to use a different bracket when I had my b16a in my crx. the motor came out of a 88 si. I tried using my drivers side mount bracket from my sohc motor didnt't work. also another question b-series shift linkage for crx will that work for a eg?
I wish I could see someones motor of the bracket and see if its different than mine.

I think my motor mount bracket is a lil different I might have to order one from majestic honda. but I have another question my eg is a cx model and I was wondering could I use a ex/si engine harness or do I need the cx/dx harness.
I have to hardwire my engine harness for the knock sensor.
but on my single cam jdm d15b that I had a buddy ran a sub harness for me.

Si/Ex will work just fine, I ran a single wire for my Knock sensor and taped it to the engine harness. You might need to lengthen your IAT sensor wires, I didn't need to, but some people do. And you will need a extender for you O2 sensor. Other than that, you are on the right track.

ok I am not sure how to wire up my o2 sensor but I do have a wideband when I was turbo but that is a standalone system. so it would throw a code for the o2 sensor wouldn't it? also 99 si or 94-01 integra shift linkage I know but wasn't sure. so did you run a power wire to your knock sensor? I am not sure that I would have to extend my iat wires but if it comes to that I dont think it would be that hard.

I have no experience with a wideband, but I just got a spare connector from an engine harness and built my own extender for the O2, I just ran one wire for the Knock sensor and ran it to the shock tower plug, than from there I will run it into the cabin and into the ecu connector for a clean, done deal install.
If you need to extend, it's just cutting and soldering in 6-8" of wire.

yeah that is what I would like to do. I wanted to do a wire tuck but I need to get my car running I really don't like wires all over the places I take my time trying to hide wires. I dont like wires all over the engine bay.

Yes my engine came out of a Delsol, but my brothers came out of a EG6 SIR II and the drivers side mount is identical.
Just get the mount off of any 2nd generation B16A, not sure if the 3rd generation is the same.
I see them on ebay, maybe find one here on H-T.

Maybe i need a 94-01 integra drivers side motor mount bracket? I also called innovative up to and they have motor mounts for sale individually. So I might end up ordering one and keeping my 2 bolt post mount as well if i run into this problem again.
