Driver side axle keeps separating from Intermediate shaft....

Driver side axle keeps separating from Intermediate shaft....
Why? There is about a 1/2 inch gap with oil dripping out. I've had this problem for a long time and keep ruining axles. Has anybody ran into this problem?

to me it just sounds like the clip isn't working correct..
and has the axle or shaft been in a curb wreck or damaged in any way.... that u know of?

nah. The axles are remanufactured. The intermediate shaft...don't know.
