Drive Belt Tension Question
I just finished changing the drive belts on my b16a2. how tight should the belts be? since i don't have any belt tension measurement device, how would one know how tight is tight enough? and what would happen to the belt if it was too tight? and what if it was slightly loose, but not too lose (where the deflection maybe 1.5x to 2x what it should be)? thanks.

Re: Drive Belt Tension Question (importrule)
One way you can tell is if you can twist the belt with you fingers that pretty much means that the belt is with in range. If the belt is to tight it will most likely break. And if its to loose then it will squeak. Hope that info helps out.

Its all about feeling, Just go feel how tight it is on another car that has a someone new belt, and you will know the tension feeling for life
