Down Shifiting Problem
Didnt know where to put this but I have an 97 DX Hatchback with a d16y7 when ever I shift down at high speeds I get a loud schreech or churp sounds like the clutch? Thanks.

Well lets say im driving at 60 mph in 5th gear, i can either snag 2nd and go to 70 mph or I can catch 3rd and go passed 100mph. Both resulting in the screeching and the chirp. Thanks.

i think if you go from 60 in fifth to second gear it's probably your car screaming for you to stop, exactly what rpm are with a d16 going 60 in second?
