door locks
its been a while since i have been on here so i am sorry if this has been brought up before. i have a 95 civic coupe dx. i wanted to know what i needed to make use of my manual door locks. the person i bought the car from had a remote to unlock the doors but my car was impounded and the remote was lost. i can still use my key to unlock the door however if i start my car with the door open it wont lock the doors but if i start the car with the door closed it will lock the doors and the only way to unlock them is to turn off the car. so i want to get rid of that annoying feature and just make it the way it was supposed to be when it was origanally made. so if anyone has a few pics of how it is supposed to look like i would greatly appriciate your help. thank you

Re: door locks (potential)
you need to disconnect the ignition wire from the keyless brain. that will stop it from locking. until you can get another remote or a new keyless.

Re: door locks (JSPECSIR)
ok my bad. i meant that i want to get rid of the keyless. the doorlocks inside the car are not connected to the mechanism inside the door. so when it locks i cant just unlock it from the inside. that is why i want a diagram of the inside of the door so i can remove the motor that drives the locking mechanism and reconnect the wire to the door lock thingy itself so when i unlock my door thats all i need to do. maybe that will be a little more clear for you guys. its just hard to explain.

It's a good idea to use this and/or other sites for quick diagrams. Of course, everyone should have a Helm Manual.
Hope this helped,
