Default doing rear disc brake conversion on 92 civic HB - use integra ebrake line?

Hi there, im doing my suspension and was working on the rear trailing arms on my 92 hb. i read the stickies and it says to use 94-01 integra ebrakes.

when i compared the 2 trailing arms, stock vs the integras, i noticed that the ebrake, on the driver side at least, is about 1.5 - 2 inches longer. Is this normal or am i supposed to get ebrakes for another car when swapping in HB, thanks!

When I did the swap, I used Integra ebrake cables. You won't be able to use drum cables with disk brakes.

thanks man. i shoudl have used your lca i bought off you, the bushings were in good condition. i spent 125 for new integra lcas well, at least i can put a sway bar later.

so how does the extra slack on the teg ebrake go? i guess i just tighten up the ebrake holder in the car more so its tigher. thanks again. i had another question, but i cant friggin remember it now.

on the side note, i swapped out the rear trailing arms and was putting in new rotor and pads in the back, man, it's more work than the front!

There shouldn't be extra slack with the Integra cables. If you run it right, bolted up to the stock locations, it should be good. Then you would tighten the ebrake handle until the ebrake locks up with 10-12 clicks.

i did the conversion on my old coupe and i used all 94-01 teg parts. except the e-brake lines wernt working (wouldnt lock up) turns out one broke (and sezied my caliper , and i found a set off a ex abs and took that rear cable. worked like a charm. As long as you mount up the cables in the stock location it should work.
