its extreamely easy/straight forward.
yes you need to take the bumper off to do it. 2 bolts on the inside of the wheel wells, 2 underneathe the front, and then just the little plastic rivets that are on the top of the grille when u open the hood.

yes and no, you dont HAVE to, i replaced my oems with black housing, you can take off your grille and get the one inside there, and take off the other 2 visible, and the other one is behind tgfdgsfgs expletive it i dont know how to explain

It is a lot easier to take off your headlights when you remove your front bumper. There are 4 bolts per headlight. Two up top, one near the middle front of the car and one more right where the bumper meets the fender.
