on a honda civic EX, not sure it makes a difference, do the headlight assemblys have more than 2 bolts?
i only see 2, is there on on the underside

There are 2 on the underside...you need to pull the bumper forward to reach them.

need to take off the front bumper and there is a screw that is through the radiator support

I'm pretty sure the EX is just like my HX. I baked my headlights not too long ago and all I had to do to get them out was loosen the bolts on the top, pop up those black rivets above the grill, loosen the bolts in the fenders and pull the bumper forward from the top. Everyone says to take your bumper completely off, but don't worry about it, because you can still get to the bolts with a ratchet just by leaning the bumper forward. There's also another bolt in the fender behind the bumper bolts (or screws or whatever they are).
