Do DC sports Headers bolt right on to Cat?
Me and a friend were planning on buy DC sports headers for our cars. I drive an EJ1 with a stock D16Z6 and he drives 98 EJ8 with a stock D16Y8, but we were wondering if the headers will bolt straight on to our stock catalytic converters in order to pass smog here in California? Or are there California Carb exempt aftermarket catalytic converters that will work with the DC Sports headers?

If what you have is all original it should bolt up without issue. Here in California you have to have an approved/serialized catalytic converter. If you have any issues with fitment any muffler shop can fix it.

I put a older set of DC Headers on my Del Sol Si with a D15B, and the DC's were 1 piece and fit on just like the 2 piece did. You should be fine, easy install too.
