Work in progress ....... really fed up with scrubbing and i hate it it won't let it go ...... **** is really real dam ...........

During removal of sensors and cooling pipe temp sensor broke into half leaving half of the body inside intact ....

Some pics after initial cleaning

You should be able to get the broken sensor out with an EZ Out.

Head broken sensor sorted... cleaned a bit of head valves area and the block and the results are great ....

That last image, is that the code to get the correct oem main/rod bearings?

Ok so from carburated you need to change the gas tank and engine wiring to the donor motor.

Carb to efi swap is much different. You need to change the engine and interior harness and fuel tank

Yes the hatch already had an efi setup.... guess what it had a b16a init ..... the tank lines are still intact but the center harness was burned

But as of now i have sorted out wiring and waiting for some parts to arrive next month.

I'd suggest replacing that thermostat housing if you can. Predicting leaks on that one.

Thermostat housing is in good state ... I just buffed it to remove pitting.

For the past few months been really busy with work load ...... had a chance to put heat + sound insulation sheet at the inner firewall area and car has been parked away for denting and painting work ....

Here municipality has started to put violations on car being dirty + not in use so thought its the best time to complete paint job and remove the car from its current location.

Rims removed for polish and cleaning one rim completed 3 more to go
