Dipstick Problem
I did a search and only found one thread that no one responded to so hopefully some responds here.
I was checking out my gf's 99 dx last night and found that the auto tranny dipstick was ridiculously loose. It was so loose that tranny fluid was regularly coming up the top and easily leaking out.
So what's the deal with this? I've never owned an automatic Honda and am just kinda curious if it's just a poor design or what? Will a replacement dip stick from the dealer seal better?
Thanks.

Re: Dipstick Problem (Leets)
"replacement dip stick from the dealer" I would say that is your best bet. Maybe the dip stick seal is shotty. But before you go forking money over for a dip stick, find a friend with the same model honda and try their dipstick first
