fuel filter maybe?
Also, try unplugging your IACV, and seeing what the idle is. If it's way low then your idle screw is set wrong.

hey man i don't have any solutions, but i'm in the same boat as you. Mines idles perfect at 680 at night but during the day it dips down to 500 rpm and back up at the traffic lights

Re: (vtecenjun)
NightTime=cooler=Choke on full when you start engine=higher revs
Daytime=hotter=not as much choke=lower revs
When i start mine at night it will hang around 1600 untill it warms up. In the daytime when the suns been beating on it it will start right up and idle at 400-700

i have the same prob on my d16y8. i have a jet v-force and i've noticed that if any of the wires are a little looses it will do just like your car is saying. i know you don't have a chip or anyhting but check for any loose wiring on your map sensor adn IACV. hope you figure it out dude

i'm running the afc hack. Sea foam does work for a little while but since i'm running quite a bit rich since i haven't dynoed, im wondering if it has something to do with the o2 sensor. I also thought about the air temp, being that I am in hawaii. But it could be so many factors. I've checked for vac leaks, sea foam, timing (idk why i'm desperate), cleaned iacv, adjust iacv screw, etc. I think it's just a problem to live with just as long it doesn't throw any cels or the car doesn't die out.
Although when the idle dips that low during the day and turn on my a/c, my car actually died for the 1st time at the traffic light.
if someone could figure this one out and it being the solution to everyone's problem, i think he would get a lot of and maybe even a donation from some of us civic owners
