differences in strut bars an tie bars
are there any differences in all the strut bars??? what does the rear upper tie bar do??? is $100 a good price for a dc sports rear tie bar

Yes, there are differences in the bars. Some are made poorly and do not offer the support that others do.
Ideally you'd want a bar that isn't adjustable and is a solid piece.
The rear upper tie bar helps stop flex between the two strut towers in the rear of the chasis, it's need more in a hatch than the coupe or sedans because of the lack of a rear deck.
