Differences between Type R motors
Looking around, I've noticed that there are considerable price differences between buying a '96-97 Integra Type R motor and a '98-00 motor... why is this? do the newer ones perform better? what's the difference between the two sets of years?

Its the intake cam that has slightly more duration.
The 2000-2001 models had a tubular style exhaust manifold.
Aside from that, the engines are the same

Re: Differences between Type R motors (Deetz)
cool... so is this true of both the CTR and ITR engines? I've got a 98 DX hatch that is stock now and was trying to see how much money i'll need to put together in order to get a motor swapped in, but wasn't sure which one to shoot for...
