I got a CEL with Code 1 a few months ago so I replaced the primary O2. I replaced it with a used OEM that I bought off H-T. A month later I get another CEL for running too rich. So I clear the code, a few weeks go by and now im getting a Code 61. So my question is, what's the difference between the two O2 codes and is it possible for my car's A-F ratio to be so out of whack that it's fouling up my O2 (supposedly the sensor I bought had 50K miles, so either he was lying or something is up with my car.) Thanks guys!!!

very possible could just be o2 sensor. If you've gutted you're cat though it will foul o2 sensors pretty often 6mo- 1yr

possible increased exhaust volume aka flow will burn up factory ho2s quicker.

 

But if that were the case, wouldnt my secondary have gone out too???
