Ok, I have pics of my problem now, so it will be easier to understand. I am posting both seats, and rails, and showing the comparison. They are totally different, except for maybe the side closer to the reclining handle. OK in pic #1 I am posting the rails for the side with the handle, notice how the del sol brackets bolt from the bottom, and the eg brackets bolt from the side:

pic# 2 the other rails. Almost line up, but the eg uses 2 nuts and 1 bolt to tighten on, and the del sol rail uses 2 bolts only, to screw into the seat:

Pic# 3 shows the bottom of the del sol seat. Should look the same as all of yours. The rails bolt on from underneath the seat:

Pic# 4 shows the bottom of the EG seat. The rails bolt on from the side of the seat! Are these similar to any of yours?

This is the problem I am having, and sorry for the pics being so large, but I wanted detail! I will post links next to each pic in case they don't show up. Thanks and hopefully you guys can help my dumbass out.

I believe you swap the entire rail and bracket...at least that's what I seem to remember my friend doing on his 00 Si. I'll try and double check with him for you.

I have an EG! It's not the same!!! I already saw how it works on an EK...and it is totally different.

You remove the bottoms (rails), they detach from the seat frame. They are held on by 3 nuts and/or bolts on each side.

Dude,
The Del Sol rails are different because the Del Sol floor is a different shape. So the rails won't fit. Just take off your stock EG rails and Del Sol rails and swap them. Do the passenger side first to test and your dirver side last.

and the inner rail (the one thats towards the middle of the car) goes up and bolts up to the back rest also. to get a better idea of what u have to do. just remove all the plastic trim by unscrewing them. then you shall get the idea.

you need to swap the entire rail/ bracket fron the EG seats to the Sol's. They mount exactly the same on to the seat. one side the whole bracket comes off. The other side is kind of just the rail.
They holes a little off when you put them in the car. You should put in all 4 bolts before you tighten the seat down to the floor or the wholes wont line up.

dude, I need to take pics of what I have. I can't find any possible way of bolting it on. It just don't fit. Maybe the brackets are backwards, I dunno...but I am freakin' stumped. The bracket holes don't line up from the Eg brackets onto the del sol seats...and the brackets/sliders dont have the same screw places. The eg one has a bolt underneath, and on the side, the del sol one has them just underneath. Grrrr!!!

u have to swap the whole thing. this means the rails and the slides on the seats. i did it in my car. it takes some work but its an easy install.
1. remove the rails form the stock seats.
2.replace the rails on the del sols seats with the civic rails.
3.bolt the seat in.
u want to use the civic rails. theyll make u sit higher. the seats r low profile as u will c. if u need pics or help email me highoktane@hotmail.com

seriously, just start romoving the plastic pieces. you'll see what bolts need to be removed and how they are similar betweent the two seats. Just start taking **** apart, its not hard you'll figure it out. It's going to be three bolts on the seat belt side and two bolts on the other side. oh yah... remove the coat-hanger thingy first.

hehe, man, I have done all that. I stare at it for like 20 min. thinking what it could bolt in to, but the holes from the rails don't even line up or anything. Hehe, **** me!!! Damn, I might as well just go get some Integra seats, rails are probably the same. I swear the rails on the EG look nothing like the ones on the Del SOl ones, and they won't line up to bolt on, hehe. Oh well...one more try since you all say it works fine. Maybe I will still post up pics of the rails, and tell me if they look just like the rails you all have. I am sure they are if they came off of the EGs. Possibly my seats were taken off of a 4-door? Shouldn't make a diff tho right? I wasn't the original owner...

Ok. Ditto to some of what these other guys said. The way I did mine was prolly retarded, but I literally unbolted the entire assembly (whole) off of each seat and swapped it directly. I didn't just pull off one rail at a time. I actually unbolted the entired bottom unit. It's a lot more bolts to take out but for me, it was less confusing.

If I have time tommorow, I'll unbolt (takes like 5 minutes) one of my seats and show you what it looks like when the rail/slider assembly looks like unbolted and intact.

I'll post pics this weekend if I can.

wow... the bolt pattern seems very different to me. i went from GSR seats in my EG to del sol seats and everything worked out very easily. i simply started taking things apart and it was very easy to put everything back together properly. i was under the impression that since the gsr seats and eg seats have the same pattern that the rails would be the same but from the pics it doesnt seem so. this is only my impression.

you know how you can slide the seat forward and backwards.. maybe one side of the rail is off from the other.. just lift lever and move the rails until they line up!
