A guy by the name of Huffster sells them on http://www.automotivetech.org. He posts in the del sol forum, and I don't know how much he sells them for, but I know that he can get them.

Yeah... I know that CRX's came with those too... I think only in Japan though... since the Del Sol was the replacement for the CRX, well... still called the CRX in Japan, they gave them glass tops too in certain models. It was only an option though.

The glass top is actually made up of plexiglass or something similiar, I don't remember exactly. It was never an option from the factory in the US or Japan. New they run @600-700 dollars, not really worth it since they flex much more than the OEM roof. I have had two of them and both flexed too much. Even my second one, which was supposed to be a better roof still was not strong enough.

Re: Del Sol OEM Glass Top (eh6turbo)
Not only did they have a glass/plexiglass (whatever) top, they also had a "transtop" which was a retractable roof. There are tracks down the back that the roof travels on and goes into the trunk at the push of a button. I've never actually seen one of these though but the do exist.
I saw one of those roofs on ebay, it didn't even last 4 hours before seller took it down, someone probably offered a chunk of change for it.

Yea, the trunk lid actually lifts up on the transtop. It weighs a lot though. I think they sell the whole conversion for like 1000$. Not sure though. I guess it'd be a cool thing to have if you had a del sol show car.

The transtop was unfortunately only used in Japan and Europe and not the US. I have done some research and found that the cost issue and safety factors are what kept it from being a viable option in the states. I saw it once when on a business trip to Japan. It made me want to get it until I found out the extra weight is adds. Still a cool thing to have. as for the glass roof , it was never an OEM offering in Japan or the US. I know when the Del Sol first came to the US a few dealers did offer the roof as an option, but it was insanely priced and the same roof that is sold now. My local honda dealer wanted an extra 950.00 for the glass roof when I first looked at them, but stopped selling them after a year becuase they only sold one.

transtop conversion cost 5000+....plus then you have to find a body shop that is GOOD and I mean good. THEN! find someone who can read japanese and translate the instructions. That is why a USDM del sol has never been converted to a transtop...pics of how the transtop works are located at: http://www.teamdelsol.com in the "information" section...mainly it would be cheaper to have a transtop sol bought in japan and imported than it would be to do this conversion...
