Del Sol Non-ABS Brake Problems, Need help pleeeze
#1. I searched found nothing.
ok.. short and to the point:
I step on my brakes when im driving, and i keep rolling, slow down maybe alittle bit, but i don't stop like i Normally should. I have to pump the brakes to get them to stop. Sometimes when i pump, the stopping force is greater, other times, its crap. I just replaced my brake pads, have plenty of brake and blinker fluid, whats next?? Has anyone had this problem? Help is greatly appreciated.

Did you bleed the brakes after you worked on them? That's my guess, that there's air in the line, that's why you have to pump them.

no, i have not done that yet. Is that pretty easy to do? I'm pretty mechanical, what do i need to do to do that? THanks for the imput.

Yeah, bleeding the brakes would be a good start. I'm going to do it this weekend hopefully. Just do a search on it - I did and found plenty of information.
