Default Del Sol lip question?

I was wondering if a lip for a 92-95 couple will fit on a 93 Del sol. I have been looking for lips and cant seem to really find any for a Del Sol

It fits but it is not a direct bolt on. You will have to drill holes in the bottom of your bumper.

I dont care about drilling holes but are you 100% sure it is going to fit? Is the 92-95 Civic bumper the same as a del sol bumper? I dont want the lip to have a bad fitment or look bad.

What about aftermarket lips for a 92-95 Civic? Will those also fit on a Del Sol?

If they are urethane you should be able to heat them and make them work pretty well..

Fiberglass and abs probably won't look too hot.. they suck anyways so who cares eh?

What do you mean by wont look too hot? My friend was planning on getting a Mugen style lip made out of ABS plastic. Will the lip still fit?

you can't modify an abs lip to fit.. It will have gaps in 2 or 3 spots at least.. not to mention trying to mold it would cause it to crack.. abs is weak crap.. just letting you know ahead of time.. Urethane is your best bet.. it can withstand a few scrapes, and can be shaped to fit easier

Which grill did you get? One for a 92-95 or 99-00? Can I have pics of where you trimmed it?

My friend just got his mugen lip for a 92-95 civic and it does not fit well at all. How did you get yours to fit? How did you mount it? when you have one side touching the part of the bumper near the fender there is about an inch gap on the other side. Is that how yours is? How are we going to be able to make the lip fit? It is a abs plastic lip.

i had an oem lip off of a 92-95 civic and i had the same gap problem. i just had to play with it to get it to work. also, take the bumper cover off if you haven't already cause its much easier that way, and then you can bring it inside so the parts warm a little, making them easier to work with. start with lining up the two sides and srewing them down and then work towards the inside.
